You can invite your friends, family and associates to subscribe by email to your blog, and they don't even need a Posterous account!
Try it out now. Go to your Manage page, go to the Subscribers tab and click Add Subscribers. You can import your contacts from Google, Yahoo or Hotmail really easily. This is what it'll look like:
